Two more weeks!!

So I decided to make a post and update the blog on Superbowl Sunday. Before I go off to watch the game on my HD TV =), I figured I'd update whatever followers we have by telling them that the next Zelda 48 will be starting at 6pm on February 15th. That's a Friday by the way. If you've already seen our promotional art below, then you would have already known everything but the time, as I'm informing you of that now. Also, our last attempt started with us trying to beat Ocarina of Time, which we did, but very slowly. As I mentioned before, we are practicing up on the game using a ROM (well, Fez and I are anyway), so we'll take on this game last next time. Our first game we will be playing is Twilight Princess. So yeah, we'll be going in the reverse order of last time. There's nothing like finishing off the event with the defeat of Ganon in OoT, wouldn't you agree?

Anyway, I thank anyone who actually reads our blog and follows us (probably not many), but yeah. By the way, the Giants have this game in the bag. I'm off to prepare for the game. Later.

Promotional Art/Practicing OoT

One of my friends made a sweet promotional "poster" for us to use and hopefully help promote our epic adventure. She's quite the artist so it kicks ass that we have this art. I really hope more people watch us this time, even after our complete failure last time. Here's the art (click on it for a larger view):As far as I know, three of us have downloaded an Ocarina of Time ROM for our computers to practice up and learn how to zip through all of the dungeons. OoT took way too long for us last time and it's clearly the longest game we're not familiar with (we've all recently beat Twilight Princess, which was the game we never got to last time). So I think we're doing ourselves a big favor by trying to memorize these dungeons within the game as best we can. I, for one, am trying to memorize where all the small keys are in the adult dungeons as this was one of our largest fall outs last time. I've just beaten the Forest Temple (much faster might I say), and I'm on my way to the Fire Temple, along with my friend Nick. It's a good sign of things to come...

Welcome to Zelda 48

Yeah, so last weekend we attempted to complete three Zelda games (OoT, WW, and TP) within 48 hours and to say the least, we pretty much didn't make it. We hadn't played any of the games in ages and attempted to complete this great feat without taking any practice beforehand. So, since we failed, we are going to be attempting to complete this challenge again starting February 15th. Don't worry, this time we're practicing up and hopefully learning all of the fastest routes through all three games. So, I've decided to make this blog to help promote our next epic Zelda adventure. Hope you enjoy and tune into our next offering. :)
